15. High Risk Pest Exclusion Agreement

Resolution authorizing execution of agreement number 00-0395 for fiscal year 2000/01 with the State of California, Department of Food and Agriculture, in the amount of $122,272.51 for high risk pest exclusion inspections

BACKGROUND NOTES: These inspections are to "exclude" the Med Fly, Oriental Fruit Fly, Gypsy Moth, fire ants. They are conducted at the US Postal Center, UPS, Fed Ex. The inspections begin at 3:30 AM and are held 6 days a week. There were 93 interceptions this year.
